On June 23, 2018 at 11:59 pm, Eric Gossanyi passed away after a five-year fight with heart disease. He was fifty-five years old and surrounded by family as he left this world peacefully.
In 1963, on the first of February, Eric was brought into this world by his mother and father, Ann and Jules Gossanyi. Later, they moved to Colorado and made a loving home, adding his little sister Karen to their little family. After high school Eric joined the Army and served his country with pride where he enlisted for a second time. During which he became a mechanic and was eventually injured. He retired from the military, got married and welcomed his three children into life; Joshua, Eduard, and Alexandria. As he settled into fatherhood, he earned an Associate degree and began working in a CB repair shop south of Brighton. While repairing CB radios was a useful trade, Eric found himself interested in farming. He moved his family twenty miles east of Brighton and began his small but mighty wheat operation. With his patience and perseverance, Eric made much out of little and gave everything to his family.
Eric was a dedicated father and very passionate about his children. He protected and guided them forward in hopes that they would find the same pleasure in this simple, yet fulfilling, life as he did. Eric lived life according to his faith in God and by his own means; his memory will be carried forth by his children.
Eric will be forever missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his mother and father Ann and Jules. His sister Karen. His son Joshua, daughter-in-law Erin, and their children Benjamin and Phoebe. His second son Eduard, and his daughter Alexandria.
