Genevieve A. Conners

Genevieve A. Conners, 94, of Brighton, Colorado, passed away on July 6, 2018. Genevieve was born in Sycamore, Illinois, to Jay and Belle (Byers) Worden.

Genevieve lived in DeKalb County, Illinois for many years before moving to Southern Indiana. Genevieve married Harry “Sherm” Conners in DeKalb, Illinois on September 11, 1948. To the marriage were born two children; Karen and Michael. In 1973, Genevieve and Sherm moved to Colorado for his work.

Genevieve was preceded in death by both of her parents as well as her husband Sherm in 2008. She is survived by her children; Caren (Richard) Balgowan and Michael Conners as well as two grandchildren; Megan and Benjamin Strahle.

The family will receive guests and condolences at 1:00pm, Monday, July 9, 2018, at Tabor-Rice Funeral Home in Brighton, Colorado. Genevieve will then be travelling home to DeKalb, Illinois, where a funeral service will be held at Anderson Funeral Home, on Thursday, July 12th. The specific time and final resting place to be announced upon confirmation.
