Lillian Irene Trostel

In Memory of beloved Lillian Irene Trostel (Seader), 93, of Brighton, Colorado. Born January 20, 1925, in Tonville, Colorado, she was received by Jesus on March 16, 2018.

Lillian married Richard Hepp in November of 1942, in Fort Lupton, Colorado. To the marriage were born three children; Melvin, Judy and Kathy. They were married for seventeen years. In 1962, Lillian married Donald Trostel and they lived happily together for over twenty years.

After Donald’s passing, Lillian spent the rest of her life as a content widow, enjoying travelling, her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also loved bingo, Las Vegas and Blackhawk. An independent woman who was known for being strong willed, strong minded and a very hard worker throughout her entire life. She was always putting everyone else’s feeling and needs ahead of her own.

One of God’s greatest, to one and all. Our pretty girl. Before leaving us she reminded us again as she did many times before “You can’t fly on one wing.”

Lillian joins her parents, Henry and Olinda Marie (Seader), brothers; Alvin, Roy and Robin as well as sister Salma. She also joins her late husbands; Richard Hepp and Donald Trostel. She is survived by her children Melvin, Judy and Kathy, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services are scheduled for Tuesday, March 27, at 2:00pm and will be held at Tabor-Rice Funeral Home; 75 South 13th Avenue, Brighton, Colorado.
