Dreiling, Robert, January 23, 1954 - July 23, 2018

Robert (Bob) Joseph Dreiling, beloved father and grandfather, passed away Monday, July 23, 2018. He leaves behind his three children, Stephanie Dreiling, Lisa (Cody) Sullivan and Jeffrey Dreiling; grandchildren Madeleine Dreiling, Declan and Cora Sullivan; his companion, Candice Dow; his mother Vita Dreiling and siblings Diane Salomonson, Leon Dreiling, Linda Rivera, Rod Dreiling, Richard Dreiling, Dennis Dreiling, and Timothy Dreiling. He is preceded in death by his father Elmer Dreiling and brothers Raymond Dreiling and Edward Dreiling.

Bob worked in various industries and loved to share his experiences from his years on the Colorado State Patrol and his many jobs as a contractor. He was proud of the skills he mastered throughout his life.

An active native of Colorado, Bob enjoyed hiking in his youth. He was involved with numerous volunteer and church committees throughout his life, including the Weld County Fair Board. He loved fishing and gardening, and was a faithful supporter of the Denver Broncos and locally sponsored Nascar driver Martin Truex. Later in life his favorite hobby was restoring vintage cars, often with the help of his brothers and friends.

A memorial service and reception will be held 11 am, Tuesday, July 31 at Zion Lutheran Church, 1400 Skeel Street, Brighton, Colorado, 80601. Memorial donations may be made to the Weld County Food Bank: weldfoodbank.org/give-funds.
