Antonio Sena “Tony”, 72, of Brighton, Colorado passed away on January 19, 2018.
Tony was born to Margarita and Manuel Sena in Sena, New Mexico on September 4, 1945. He has 5 brothers and 2 sisters (Lawrence, Chris, Sid, Victor, Ernest, Sadie and Dorothy). He obtained his education in Brighton, Colorado, then enlisted in the United States Navy. He served in the Vietnam War for three tours over the course of four years on the Destroyer, “U.S.S. Berkley”.
He married Suzanne Albert in 1969. They had a daughter, Shannon Renee and a son, Antonio Shane, who he would often say were his most important accomplishments.
He continued his life’s work as a carpenter for 20 plus years, in residential and commercial construction. He retired at the age of 45 and was able to live his life fully.
Tony was a loving and devoted father and grandfather. In his younger years he enjoyed sports, coaching his children’s sports teams, hunting, and spending his time with his immediate, and extended family. He had a passion for life and a special place in his heart for those in need.
He is survived by his daughter, Shannon (Jake) Savona, son, Shane (Jennifer) Sena, four grandchildren; Damion, Jackson, Brooklyn and Liliana as well as siblings, Chris, Sid, Victor, Ernest, Sadie and Dorothy. He was preceded in death by both parents and his brother; Lawrence.
