Beverly Merkel Obituary

Beverly A. Merkel, age 75, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 5, 2019, at Platte Valley Medical Center in Brighton, Colorado. She was born May 2, 1944 to Merle and Frances (Thomas) McInnis. Through adolescence, Beverly grew up and ultimately graduated from Fox-Croft Academy in Dover, Maine.

For work, Beverly chose to pursue a career in the medical field, working as a Medical transcriptionist for Palms West Hospital in Loxahatchee, FL. She also worked for Dr. J. Trabin's office early on in her career and retired from Palms West Hospital in 2015.

For the last 12 years Beverly lived and thrived in the Brighton, Colorado area where she attended and was considered to be a devout member of Chapel Hill Church of the Nazarene. For fun, Beverly loved to watch her soap operas, and thoroughly enjoyed conversing with both her friends and family. She will be truly missed.

Beverly is survived by her son, Christopher (Deborah) Merkel of Brighton, CO, alongside two grandchildren, Christopher Jr and Samantha. She is preceded in passing by both parents, Merle and Francis (Thomas) McInnis, along with her late husband Leonard F. Desroches.
