Eduardo A. Gomez, age 59, passed away October 2, 2019 in Fort Lupton Colorado. He was born August 19, 1960 in Miami Florida; after which he spend his childhood in Cali, Columbia. He moved back to the United States establishing a life-long trade as a carpenter. In the 1990’s he joined the Carpenter’s Union which took him all over different parts of the U.S. and gave him many opportunities in other trades giving him a wide array of skills and talents. He furthered his career in the Carpenter’s Union by becoming a Union Representative for the Southwest Carpenter’s Union in 1999; upon which he retired from in 2018.
Eduardo is survived by his loving wife of 25 years Diane, his daughter Danielle, his granddaughter Delilah; his brothers Charlie, Ignacio, and Carlos; his sisters Maria and Lucero; several nieces and nephews. He is proceeded in death by his father Juan, Mother Maria, and Brother Juan.
Ed is remembered by his big smile, his love for the outdoors and hunting, a heart that is always helping people, and his ability to tease anyone. One could never leave the house without a fuller stomach, a lighter heart and a smile on your face.
Funeral Services will be held at the Outpost Calvary Church in Fort Lupton; Friday October 11, 2019 at 11am. Following the services a burial will be held at Hillside Cemetery in Fort Lupton. Proceeding the burial a luncheon celebrating Ed will be held back at Outpost Calvary Church in Fort Lupton.
