Erin Dawn (Nichols) DeLeon

Erin Dawn Nichols (DeLeon) came charging into life on June 10, 1974.

 She grew up in Broomfield, CO and was active in her parent’s business from a young age. She and her brother Eric later went on to succeed their parents in the family endeavor, E & E Printing (formerly Kerrigan Labeling). E & E continues to be a staple of the business community in Northglenn, CO. She held two jobs for many years and this included a long commitment with Big Lots retail stores.

 During her high school years Erin was very active in school business groups (DECA) and was always the life of the party. She went on to obtain her Associates degree in business from Denver Business College. This is also where she met her beloved Joe DeLeon and they later married on September 9, 2000 in Las Vegas.

 This union was blessed with her daughter, Krystal, and son, Sean, and three beautiful grandchildren, Lily, Gracie and Jake.

 Erin loved watching her son play baseball, dolphins, football, the ocean, music, palm trees, the Golden Girls, tacos and she had a passion for fashion! Always decked out - and with nails to match – she was known for her beaming smile, stunning blue eyes and vivacious personality.

 Erin was creative and crafty and was the person you could count on. Even in times of tragedy she was the strong force that kept plugging along, getting it all done.

 Tough, but with a heart of gold, Erin was genuine and down to earth - a friend to anyone she met. She had a comforting demeanor and a laugh that went all the way to the bottom of your soul. She lit up every room.

 Erin’s legacy is one of family, friends, fun and laughter. She was always willing to help anyone and would be over at a moment’s notice to talk through anything and everything. The first word many use when describing her is selfless.

 Erin was preceded in death by her parents Brenda and Jack Nichols and she leaves behind her son Sean DeLeon; daughter Krystal DeLeon; faithful brother and longtime business partner Eric Nichols (Lisa); and countless family members and friends.

 Erin died peacefully, but way too early on Oct. 1, 2019 in Thornton. She was 45 years old.

 Memorial services will be held on Sat., Oct. 26 at 11 am at the DoubleTree by Hilton (the Castle), 83 E. 120th Ave., 80233.
