James (Jim) A. Dewey, 86, Greeley, Colorado, passed away on January 2, 2020. He was born on April 10, 1933, in Bertrand, Nebraska to Arthur C. Dewey and Marieta (Bower) Dewey (Getz). Jim graduated from Brighton High School in 1952 and was drafted into the US Army in 1954. He was stationed in Korea during the Korean War.
Jim was an Installer Technician for Western Electric/ AT&T and retired after 35 years of employment.
Jim was proud to have served his country and in May 2018, he was honored to be able to participate with fellow veterans on a trip to Washington DC with the Northern Colorado Honor Flight.
He was preceded in death by both parents; two brothers, Jack and Robert; sister, Dorothy Mattive; and sister in law, Louise Dewey

Interment will be held at Fort Logan National Cemetery on January 13, 2020 at 10:30am followed by a Celebration of Life at the Alli Event Center at 2:00pm.
