John R. “Bob” Condrey

Born in Henryetta, Okla, the 5th child of Ellis and Mildred Condrey, Bob followed his older brothers and enlisted in the Navy after his high school graduation. He married Phyllis Shell in 1951, graduated from (then) Oklahoma A&M in 1952, and began a 30 plus year career with Standard Oil of Indiana, working for its subsidiaries Stanolin, Pan American Petroleum, and AMOCO Production, and living in Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma, and Colorado. Phyllis preceded him in death in 1995.
Reared in the Methodist Church, he was always active in local congregations, most notably St. Stephen’s Methodist in Houston, Tx, and Littleton United Methodist Church, Colorado, where he has been a member since 1972. In 1998, Bob married Judy Elias. In Colorado, he was also an active member of the Littleton Optimists Club, Spellbinders, precinct level politics, and the Rocky Mtn Petroleum Speakers Bureau.
A devoted husband, generous father and loving grandfather, he is survived by his wife Judy, Brighton, CO; son John, Honolulu, HI, & grandchildren Christopher & Megan, spouses Christina & James, respectively, all of Fairfax County, VA, and many nieces & nephews. He is also survived by his “hanai” family Val and Les Fraley, their children Nathan (Sonia) Fraley, Victoria (George) Gies and their 4 grandchildren Sophia, Eli, Seraphina and Emerson, all of Brighton, CO, and Kent Wilcox and son Joshia, Phoenix, AZ.
Services and interment will be Sept 4, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Littleton United Methodist Church 5894 S Datura St. Littleton CO.
