Kara Jane McGee

       Kara Jane McGee, 37, of Arvada Colorado passed away on December 23, 2019. She was born on July 14, 1982 in Shattuck, Oklahoma to Kelly Kenyon and Daniel (Dan) McGee. Kara graduated from Northglenn High School in 2001.

        Kara proudly worked in the Banking industry in Colorado and found joy in her job and her coworkers. Kara was born in Oklahoma, and moved to Colorado in 1983. Kara settled into her own home in Arvada, Colorado in 2016. Kara welcomed her fur child, Leia, into her heart and home in July of 2017. Leia brought Kara so much joy, and Kara would spend her nights and weekends taking Leia on adventures around her neighborhood. Kara loved her family, including her four nieces and nephews with whom she enjoyed swimming with, taking to the movies and babysitting. Kara was a long time Denver Broncos fan, and loved chile rellenos from Las Delicas. Kara enjoyed, practical jokes, quoting movie lines and spending her spare time with friends and family.

       Kara is survived by her mother, Kelly Kenyon; Step-father, Brian Kenyon of Thornton Colorado; Father, Daniel (Dan) McGee; Step-Mother, Janet McGee of Denver, Colorado; Brother, Daniel (Dan) McGee; Sister-in-law, Celia McGee of Northglenn, Colorado; Brother, Dustin McGee of Thornton, Colorado; Sister, Courtney Kenyon of Thornton, Colorado; Step-Sister, Jami Toombs of Northglenn, Colorado. Kara was blessed with six nieces and nephews: Sean McGee, Mckenna McGee, Julianah McGee, Samuel McGee, Andrew Toombs, and Emily Toombs. Kara was loved immensely by her numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
