Pauline E Greer

Pauline was born in Two Rivers, Wisconsin to John and Margerite Zilk and was the youngest of 3 siblings. She married the love of her life, George Patrick Greer from Glasgow, Scotland on November 22, 1952. When she met George she said, “I have to have him, that’s for me.” She moved to Colorado at the age of 12 where she finished school and worked as a receptionist at a Doctor’s office.

She loved to cook and bake, and was very good at it. She also volunteered at several Elementary schools in the library’s and other departments.

She had lung and breathing issues for several years due to asthma and allergies. In 2009 she moved to Marshall, MI to be with her son and daughter in law and for the better air in MI. She had much fun with Brian and Gerry. Car shows, Fourth of July, cruise to the fountains yearly, Blues festivals, dinner outings, ice-cream and shopping.

Her faith in God was strong until her last breath. Towards the end of her life she had several bouts with pneumonia. Her lungs became very compromised on November 29th of 2019. She passed very peacefully with her son Brian and daughter in law Gerry spending her last 13 hours by her side. She is now with God and her loving husband George of 54 years of marriage. She will be missed forever.
