Agripina H. Sepulveda, a long-time resident of Fort Lupton, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2021 at the age of 96. She was born in Fort Morgan, Colorado on June 23rd, 1924 to J. Trinidad Hernandez Carillo and Febronia Lucero. She married Lucas V. Sepulveda on November 21, 1942, to whom she was faithfully married for 51 years, until his death 1994. She had a great love for her family, raising six children and one niece/daughter, along with helping to raise her grandchildren. She had many talents and interest including gardening, drawing, needlework, crocheting and cooking. She had a generous nature helping others whenever she could and was a hard worker that took pride in her work. She was extremely resilient and always finding ways to overcome whatever challenges she faced in life.
She is preceded in death by her husband Lucas, son Joseph, niece/daughter Alberta, mother Febronia, father J. Trinidad, stepfather Francisco Calvo, sisters Angela, M. Trinidad, Beatriz, and brothers Hipolito, Cristobal and Rosendo
She is survived by her five children, Mary (Manuel) Romero of Brighton, Ralph Sepulveda of Brighton, Carmel (Kinya) Miyagi of Okinawa, Japan, Jessica Sepulveda of Brighton and John (Becky Salazar) Sepulveda of Fort Lupton. As well as her brothers, Ernie Calvo of Lochbuie, Louie (Ruth) Calvo of Lafayette and Arthur Calvo of Thornton. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. May the Lord welcome her into his loving arms where she will rest in peace forever.
