Andrae "Andy" Kresha

Andy was born in Milwaukee, WI to Adrian Kresha and Patricia Hoffman and was their second child and first son.

Shortly after Andy’s birth, Adrian and Pat moved back to Kimball, NE where they lived until 1970. During that time Pam and Andy added two more siblings, Tom, and Danny.

In 1970, the family moved to Brighton, CO where they lived most of their lives. Andy went to Brighton schools and graduated from Brighton Senior High School in 1983.

During high school, Andy worked making pizza at Micelli’s Restaurant. After graduation, he worked in an automotive shop. He eventually went to work for Storage Technologies in Louisville, CO. During that time, he married and had a son Aaron. Eventually they divorced and he and Aaron became bachelors. Andy went to work at Pine Tree in Longmont. He transferred to CA where he worked for ISC Group and then moved on to work at Tru-Med.

Andy love photography, especially plant life. He had a green thumb, and you could always find him working on a Bonsai project. He raised Bonsai to resell or just to add to his collection. One of his latest projects was growing kumquats! Andy could be found throwing a line in a body water waiting for that bite on his line.

Andy is survived by his mother, Pat Kresha; along with siblings, Pam (Les) Talmadge and Dan Kresha, his much-loved niece, Annie, along with two grandchildren, Hunter and Amiya and his beloved cat Frankie. He was preceded in death by his father, Adrian, his son Aaron, and brother Tom.

A Celebration of Life memorial mass will be held at St. Augustine’s Catholic Church in Brighton on September 19th. The Rosary will be said at 10:30 am, with a mass at 11:00 am. There will be a graveside service following the mass and a luncheon to be held at the church hall.
