Andrea Sailas

Andrea Sailas was born on February 20, 1954, in Mexico, and entered eternal rest on May 26, 2026, in Brighton, Colorado, after a life of faith, courage, and grace.

Andrea was born to Jesus and Isabel Martinez, and from her earliest days, she carried a spirit that was faith-filled, spirited, and courageous. She lived a life shaped by simple joys and steadfast devotion, walking through each season with a humble heart and a trusting soul. Though her schooling ended after the 8th grade, her life was rich in wisdom, love, and a strength that could never be measured by education alone. She believed deeply in God, in family, and in meeting each day with prayer, purpose, and praise.

Andrea’s greatest achievement was her children. She poured her heart into motherhood, creating a legacy of love that will continue through generations to come. She was a woman of strength and unwavering faith, and the love she gave was deep, sincere, and enduring. Through every trial and triumph, she trusted in God’s guidance and remained steadfast in her faith.

Andrea loved to cook, and her kitchen was always a place of comfort and care. She enjoyed baking homemade pies and had a sweet tooth for anything sugary. She found peace and joy in reading her Bible and attending church services where she could worship and feel close to God. She also loved knitting, sharing warmth and tenderness through every stitch she made. Andrea appreciated the quiet blessings found in everyday life, and it was her loving heart that made those moments so meaningful. Though she lived simply, her life reflected kindness, grace, and faith.

Andrea is survived by her three daughters and their spouses, her son and his spouse, thirteen grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, four sisters, and four brothers. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who will continue to cherish her memory with love. The bonds she created with her family were strong and lasting, and her love, prayers, laughter, and caring spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.

Andrea was preceded in death by her parents, Jesus and Isabel Martinez; her eldest daughter, Hilda Martinez; her younger sister, Alejandra Martinez; and her oldest brother, Valentine Gaona-Medina. Though they have departed from this earthly life, the love they shared remains eternal.

Andrea’s life was a beautiful testimony of Christian faith and devotion. She faced each day with sincerity, humility, and trust in the Lord. While none of us are perfect, Andrea lived with a faithful and compassionate heart that touched everyone around her. Her journey on earth is now complete, and she rests peacefully in the arms of the Savior she loved so dearly. Though her family grieves her passing, they also find comfort in the promise of eternal life and the hope of being reunited again.

May Andrea’s memory always be a blessing. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose love remained steady through every season of life. Though she is no longer with us in person, her kindness, faith, and loving spirit will live on forever in the hearts of all who loved her.
