Andrielle Nicole Salazar, 43, of Brighton Colorado, passed away peacefully on 2/7/25 surrounded by her loving family.
Andrielle was born on November 6th,1981 in Raton, New Mexico to Greg and Renee Abeyta. She attended Trinidad High school and later continued her education at The University of Northern Colorado, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
Andrielle dedicated her life to the art of nursing, not just as a profession, but as a calling woven into the very fabric of who she was. Nursing was never a job - it was an extension of her heart, faith, and love for others. Even in her own battle with cancer, she continued to give. Though she fought through pain and uncertainty, her dedication never waivered. She showed up - with grace, strength, and with the same compassion that defined her career. Her resilience was not just inspiring; it was a testament to the love she carried for the work she believed in.
Above all else, Andrielle’s heart belonged to her family. She was a devoted wife to her husband, Damian, and a loving, protective mother to their three beautiful children- Desmond, Jayden, and Olivia. To her, family was everything–her greatest joy, her deepest purpose, and the legacy she poured her heart into every single day. She nurtured with a gentle touch, guided with quiet strength, and inspired with unwavering faith. Her love was fierce yet tender, always present in the small moments–late night talks, warm embraces, and the way she made each of them feel seen and deeply loved. She wanted nothing more than for her family to walk in faith, and to stand firm in adversity. Humble and selfless, she led by example, showing what it meant to love unconditionally, serve others, and trust in God’s plan. She was the steady rock in the storm, the safe place to land, and the light that made home feel like home. Though her absence leaves an immeasurable void, the love she poured into Damian, Desmond, Jayen, and Olivia will never fade. Her faith, her strength, and her spirit live on in them, as they continue walking the path she set before them–grounded in love, rooted in faith, and persistent in all things.
Beyond her career and family, Andrielle had a love for all people and enjoyed hosting parties for any and all occasions. She enjoyed spending family vacation time in Puerto Vallarta where she could relax and enjoy the beach. Andrielle was known for her infectious smile, compassionate heart, and unshakeable faith. She always made those around her feel valued and loved.
She is survived by Her husband, children, parents, and siblings.
Andrielle’s love, kindness, and strength left an unforgettable mark on all who knew her, ensuring that her legacy will be cherished forever.
