Ann Davis Obituary

Ann (Artzer) Davis passed away peacefully at her home in Brighton Colorado on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, where her faith in God remained strong until her last moments on earth, which was spent surrounded by her family.

Ann was born in Fort Dodge Iowa to Colleen and Adam Artzer on October 24, 1953.

She grew up in Fort Dodge with her mom, dad and 6 siblings.

Having a large family meant many friends gathering at the Artzer house to play basketball, football, baseball and kick the can.

Ann graduated from Central Webster High School in Burnside Iowa in 1971. She married on June 2, 1972, and in 1974 had her daughter Tina. She then had her daughter Angel Marie in 1976 and her son Joshua in 1981.

Ann moved to Colorado in the late 70’s and started working in Broomfield Colorado where she worked for over 20 years.  She then worked for the Department of Human Services for many years and retired in July of 2019.

She had many adventures and family camping trips in the Rocky Mountains where she enjoyed soaking up the sun and sitting by the water. She often went to Blackhawk for a quick run at video poker or a penny slot machine. Ann loved music, working a good 1000+ piece puzzle, working on her diamond art, and playing Bingo.

She was a diehard Denver Broncos Fan and never missed a game.

Ann loved getting together with family, playing board games, eating great food and most importantly laughing until her sister would wet her pants.

She always spoke with great pride of her grandchildren.  She loved going to their birthday parties, sporting events and receiving tons of pictures and videos of them.

Ann is survived by her daughter, Tina (Morgan), her son Josh (Brittany); 6 grandchildren, Austin, Allison, Alayna, Ava, Bree, and Blake.  Her Brothers Joe, Tom (Pam), Sisters Lynn, Janet (Mike), and Diane (Matt) and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by both of her parents; brother Danny; daughter Angel Marie.
