Anne Elizabeth Brown

Anne was born in Ventura, California to Kline Ralph Stewart and Jane Elizabeth Walsh and was the oldest of 3 girls, her younger sisters being Mary and Claire Stewart. She spent the first part of her life in California and then moved to Colorado in the summer of 1973 with her family. She later married the love of her life, James D. Brown, and they were married for over 20 years.

Anne worked as a fraud investigator for most of her career until she retired in the early 2000s. She was heavily involved in weekly Rumi Kube sessions with friends where good food, sweets, and laughs were shared.  Anne was a devoted cook and loved sharing meals with family and friends, especially her famous chocolate cake. She was heavily involved in church groups and in her community, and made friends everywhere she went. Anyone who knew Anne knew she was a huge fan of football – especially the Denver Broncos.

Anne was a wife to Jim Brown, and mother to three sons; Patrick, Joseph, and Michael, a wonderful grandmother and great-grandmother, and a devoted friend and member of her community.
