Anthony J. Romero, 56, of Brighton, Colorado, passed away on July 11, 2026. He was born on April 20, 1970, in Denver, Colorado, to Joseph and Sharon Romero.
Anthony grew up in Brighton and attended Brighton schools. He loved reading his Bible and listening to Christian music. He enjoyed riding his bike and working out daily. He also loved to cook, especially a hearty breakfast.
Tony was loved by all of his family, and he deeply loved each of them as well. He had a special place in his heart for his Abuelita Nora and loved to hear what was going on with his nephews and nieces.
He will be so, so missed and was truly loved by all his family! Rest in Peace, Mijo! Our Lord was waiting for you at the gates of Heaven. He took your hand, and there your Mom, Dad, Grandpas, and Grandma welcomed you!
Praise God!
Anthony was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Joseph W. Romero and Sharon L. Romero; and his grandparents, Erasto and Honora Romero and Emmett Zerr.
He is survived by his aunts and uncles, Carlos (Ann) Romero of Longmont, Colorado, Tomas Romero of Greeley, Colorado, and Edward R. Romero of Aurora, Colorado, Mary H. (Daniel) Trujillo of Brighton, Colorado and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
