Arden Bob Nicodemus

Arden Bob Nicodemus, 67, Fort Lupton, Colorado, passed away October 7, 2020.  Born January 23, 1953 in Lamar, Colorado, Arden was born to Ray Allen and Mary Louise Nicodemus. Arden graduated from Elkhart High School in 1971. He married Hellen Joyce Wicks on April 13, 1974 in Edgewater, Colorado. They were married for 46 years. He worked for CDOT Colorado for most of his career.

Arden grew up a farmer and rancher in Baca County. After leaving Baca County, he moved to Denver, Colorado and lived with his sister Rita until he settled into Longmont, Colorado; then several years later, he retired in Fort Lupton, Colorado.

In his later years, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time on the prized pontoon with his family. He dearly loved his son, his two granddaughters and family. He took really good care of his farm animals. He loved watching the Denver Broncos with his son and daughter in-law too.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce; son, Austin; daughter in-law, Chrisi; granddaughters, Rebecca (14) and Allie (13), all of Ft. Lupton; sister, Rita and her husband, Charles and sister, Rhonda; nieces and nephews.

Memorial services honoring Arden will be on Wednesday, October 21, 2020, beginning at 10:00 a.m., at Tabor Funeral Home, in Brighton, Colorado.
