Arly Hernandez Obituary

Arly, a proud daughter, mother, sister, wife, granddaughter, niece, cousin, friend, student, healthcare professional and lupus warrior was born on July 31st, 1985, in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico, and grew up in Fort Lupton, Colorado. Arly took her last breath in the early morning of March 27th, 2024, while surrounded by her daughters, husband, mother, sister (Areli) and with all the prayers, love, and support from family and friends.

After being diagnosed with lupus Arly never lost hope and continued to fight. That fighting spirit, infectious smile and timid but strong personality made Arly the amazing person she was. She was a brilliant healthcare educator, mentor, and student. She started her college journey at Aims Community College and was part of the College Assistance Migrant Program (Proud CAMPer). She went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration and Management from Colorado State University Systems, as well as a Master’s degree of Healthcare Administration. She was working towards her Doctorate degree in Health Administration at Walden University.

Arly had a passion for helping others and started her path in healthcare as a Medical Assistant at Salud Family Health in 2005. She went on to be a Surgery Coordinator (Good Samaritan Hospital), Medical Education Program Manager (Salud), Externship Organization Manager (NIMAA), and ended her journey as the Medical Assistant Training Manager at Sunrise Community Health where she worked since August 2021. Arly loved what she did and continued to work until she was able to.

Arly enjoyed spending time with her family, learning, being silly, caring for many pets and loved Colorado’s mountains and country life. She loved getting all dolled up and putting on some red lipstick. Her pride and joy and proudest accomplishment were her children.

Arly is survived by her parents; Maria Diaz and Jose Jaime Ulloa, her spouse; Angel Mancha, her daughters; Anayah Urbina, Dayjah Urbina, Adely Cano, her son; Jonathan Hernandez, her sisters; Areli Ulloa-Molina, Alexandra Ulloa, Analee Jimenez, Aileen Vargas, Elizabeth Ulloa, her brothers; Ricardo Antonio Diaz, Jaime Rodolfo Ulloa, and her maternal grandparents; Eduardo Diaz and Maria Teresa Carrasco Diaz. She is also survived by children she loved and cared for as her own Oakland and Eyesis Mancha, Jaydon and Jocelyn Hernandez.

She is preceded in death by her late husband Ramon Hernandez, paternal grandparents; Jose Guadalupe and Maria Guadalupe Ulloa, aunts; Maria Emerita Sotelo, Lidia Valdez (Arly’s Godmother), and cousin; Gerald Rodriguez.

In lieu of flowers, we ask that contributions be made to Arly’s children through Arly’s sister, Areli- Venmo @AreliUM
