Barbara Jean Cross was born in Denver, Colorado in February 1959 to James Arnold and Sadie Ramirez. She was the 4th of 5 siblings. Barbara met her husband Bobby and began their lifelong love journey together in 1994 and have lived in Henderson, Colorado since 1998.
Anthony, her son and self-proclaimed Angel, was born August 16th, 1982, and was the apple of her eye. Barbara grew up in Commerce City, CO and taught preschool for the HeadStart Program for 25 years while simultaneously earning her bachelor’s degree. She also worked for King Soopers for 20+ years in the deli and bakery departments.
Barbara spent her whole life caring and giving to others. Her family was the most important thing to her. She valued her time with her grand kids and great grand kids. Going to church and her relationship with Jesus was extremely important to her.
Barbara is survived by husband Bobby, sons Anthony and Leo, grandsons Brandon and Jacob, granddaughter Veronica, great grandkids Felix, Lylah and Julian, sisters Carol and Kathy, brothers Russell and Randy plus nieces Renee, April, Leslie and Sarah and nephew David and numerous great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Sadie.
