Barbara Esther Gallegos

Barbara Esther (Romero) Gallegos, passed away March 13, 2026, at the age of 75. Barbara was the eldest child born to Johnny M. Romero and Esther M. Barela, formerly Romero,on March 28, 1950 in Clovis, N.M. and raised along with her siblings in Brighton, CO. After having children of her own, Barbara moved her little family to Greeley, making it their home. Barbara enjoyed going out to lunch, journaling, reading and traveling to see family and friends during the summer months. Her grandsons were her pride and joy. 

Barbara is preceeded in death by her parents, brothers Charlie and Mike Romero, and sister Juanita Diane Romero-Mulkey. Barbara is survived by her daughter Jennifer Gallegos, son Matthew Gallegos, grandsons Derek (Angelica) Gallegos, Isaac Gallegos and Jacob (Larissa) Gallegos, all of Greeley. Sister Patty Romero, Indiana and Yvette Romero, Denver. Barbara was very loved and will be missed.
