In Loving Memory of Barbara E Sager
Barbara Sager at age 81 passed away peacefully at her home on August 31, 2022. Barbara Warner was born to Luther and Easter Warner in Lebanon, Kansas on August 22, 1941 and lived there till age 11. In 1952, her family moved to Brighton, Colorado where she went to junior high school then graduated from Brighton High School in 1959. Brighton is where she met her sweetheart, George Sager, they married on April 22, 1962. In 1964 They began their family. They had three children Lorinda Sager, Mikel (Jennifer) Sager and, Susan (Patrick) Smith.
She was blessed with six grandsons: Ethan Johansen, Justin Sager, Tyler Sager, Dakota (Coral) Tingle, Seth Smith and Jordan Sager.
She was also blessed with five great-grandchildren: Wesley Sager, Luke Baldwin, Kinsley Sager, Zebadiah Alicea and Brantley Tingle.
For her children she was a Girl Scout, Boy Scout and, 4-H leader. They all enjoyed their time together.
Barbara also enjoyed sewing, crocheting, reading, fishing, camping, traveling, and made the most delicious wedding and birthday cakes.
Barbara will be missed by all who loved and knew her.
Barbara is proceeded in death by her parents Luther and Esther Warner, husband George Sager and brother, Ronald Warner.
Barbara’s funeral service will be held on September 12, 2022 at Tabor Funeral Home in Brighton, Colorado at 10am. Burial will be at Hillside Cemetery in Fort Lupton, Colorado next to her loving husband after the service. After the burial, all are welcome to join the family for a small reception to be held at Double B Farms at 20490 CR 4 Hudson, Colorado 80642. Refreshments will be served.
