Benjamin Socorro Medina, 68, passed away peacefully on October 24, 2025, in Riverton, Wyoming, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born on June 27, 1957, in Denver, Colorado, Benjamin was the beloved son of Jose and Viola Medina.
Benjamin had a lifelong love for the outdoors, whether it was hunting, fishing, or simply enjoying the peace of nature. He proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jose Medina; his sisters, Juanita Gallegos and Terecita Medina; and his nephew, Lance Rodriguez.
Benjamin leaves behind his loving mother, Viola Medina; his sister, Rosalie Maple; his sons, David Bueno and Jose Medina; and his godmother, Carmen Mecillas. He will also be deeply missed by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who loved him dearly.
A graveside service will be held at Fairview Cemetery on Monday, November 17, 2025, at 11:30 a.m. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance and celebrate the life of a truly remarkable man.
