Cameron Royce Perkins
Cameron Royce Perkins was born to Troy and Karen Perkins on September 10, 1993, in Denver, Colorado. He passed away at his home in Hudson, CO on July 7, 2025, at the age of 31. As this is a tragic loss, his family is leaning on and trusting the Lord to overcome grief, and we ask you to do the same as you remember Cameron.
Cameron was a diligent and faithful worker. He worked at Vexor for 14 years as a Machinist. Cameron used a couple of coding languages to program the machines for unique jobs. He was the only person employed at Vexor that knew how to do his job, which he boasted about.
Cameron had a larger-than-life personality! With his easy smile and gregarious disposition, he made people feel welcomed wherever he went. Cameron was gifted at drawing people in and making people feel like they belonged. His creativity and determination to look at the world differently helped him bring new life and thoughts to almost any discussion. He was driven to make those around him feel better.
Cameron loved to make people laugh! There was never a room that Cameron entered that wasn’t filled with more laughter. Sometimes it was weird observations, other times it was insults at your own expense. He usually had some crazy idea he wanted to introduce you to that seemed outrageous, but he was absolutely serious about making it happen. It didn’t matter, when Cameron was in your presence, you knew you would be laughing together at some point.
Cameron showed up for the people he loved. He paid attention to people’s wants and needs and tried to meet them, many times in the most ridiculous ways. He never lacked imagination or ingenuity when helping others. Cameron was also a member of the Orchard Church in Henderson, CO.
Then there was his intensity... If Cameron had any amount of interest in something, he was going to take the time to learn more. He wouldn’t just learn something at a basic level of understanding but pursued becoming an expert. This intensity, combined with his natural intelligence, made a strong impression on everyone that got to know him.
Cameron had many interests and passions: hunting, fishing, camping, concerts, refurbishing guns, woodworking, and karaoke. Anyone who knew Cameron also knew how much he loved to sing karaoke. Although somewhat tone-deaf, nothing could stop him from getting on stage and pouring out his soul. While karaoke was how he entertained others, hunting was his true passion, as he was an active member of Ducks Unlimited and Pheasants Forever. Cameron enjoyed taking trips to South Dakota to hunt pheasant with his father, uncle, and cousin. He also looked forward to his big game excursions every fall with his cousin and best friends.
Cameron is survived by his daughter, Willow Perkins; parents, Troy and Karen Perkins; sister, Cierra (Cody) Tracy, as well as his nieces, nephew, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his brother Cody Brown, cousin Christopher Chase, Aunt Stacy Petty, and Grandparents, Royce and Sandy Perkins and Arthur and Reba Treherne.
