Carol Ann Steele

Carol Steele passed away on May 17, 2026, in Brighton at the age of 83. Carol was born on March 21, 1943. Carol is survived by her daughter Sara Steele, her son-in-law Jared Arp, and her granddaughter Evelyn. She was preceded in death by her husband Fred Steele, who she spent many years working with at his law office in Brighton. Carol loved opera and classical music, and she was an avid reader, a crossword puzzle addict, and enjoyed spending time in her garden. She was a life-long caretaker of animals and she loved her dogs fiercely: Tansy, Bella, Lollipop, and Clancy, as well as her cat Oliver. Carol supported the American Humane Society her entire life, and the family suggests that in lieu of flowers, donations could be made to them in her memory.
