Carrie Lynn (Fragale) Burns

Carrie Lynn Fragale Burns was born June 12, 1975, to Gilroy and Cheryle Fragale. She had twin sisters, Debby and Diane, as well as her big brother, Fabius at home to welcome her into the family. A sister, Jennifer, joined the family at a later date.

Carrie married Andy Burns on February 14, 2005. Two sons, Gavin and Deaven were born to this union. Her sons were the most important thing to her, and she felt the world turned for her because of them.

Carrie was a CNA for more than 30 years starting her career at the age of 16. She was a caring, compassionate caregiver with a heart of gold. She worked at skilled nursing facilities as well as private duty care.

Her care and compassion spilled over to her everyday life as well. Always thinking of family and friends. She spent the day before her surgery with her mom and Aunt looking at old photos and reminiscing. She expressed how much her family and friends meant to her and the many gatherings over the years were some of her fondest memories.

Carrie enjoyed fishing, camping, collecting Dark Fantasy Fairies, and spending holidays visiting with family and friends. She especially enjoyed spending time with her boys watching movies.

Carrie loved heavy metal music and 80's rock bands as well as roller skating, shopping and cooking. But one of her greatest loves was the ocean. She was fortunate enough to spend her 49th birthday in Destin, FL with her son, Gavin, and other family members. lt was one of the greatest times of her Life.

Carrie is survived by her mother, Cheryle Slaughter. Her sons, Gavin and Deaven and his fiance, Sydney. Her son's father, Andy Burns. Twin sisters, Debby and Diane. Her brother, Fabius and wife Jennifer. Her sister, Jennifer and spouse, Katherine. And her nieces Shaelina and Shelby, as well, as numerous Aunts, Uncles, cousins, and the many friends she has made over the years.

Carrie was preceded in death by her father, Gilroy Fragale, stepfather, Deryl Slaughter, brothers in law, Mike Tony and Jeff Womack. Nephew Zac Fragale, infant cousin Deana Dawn DeCamp, her ln Laws, James and Jean Burns, as well as her Grandparents and numerous Aunts and Uncles.
