Carrie was born in Denver, Colorado to Vickie Welch and Mike Riddle, as the only child. She married the love of her life, Steve Sutterlin, on February 23, 1998.
Carrie spent most of her life with her family in Brighton, Colorado. She spent most of her younger adult life as an accountant and bookkeeper for multiple companies. She went to Front Range Community College around August 2013, where she later graduated in May of 2015 with her Associates of Arts in Psychology. She loved learning about how the brain worked and comprehended things. She wanted to help young adolescents with addiction. She was very caring to those around her, whether they were family or complete strangers.
Carrie had a lot of enjoyments in life. Being outdoors was the biggest one. She loved to go spend time in the mountains with her husband, Steve, walking along rivers and going camping. She enjoyed and spent a lot of time in the family garden the last few years, where she grew some of the best tomatoes you had ever tasted. She was an animal lover. She loved dogs, horses and most recently chickens. Summers were mostly spent up at the racetrack with her husband, at horse shows with her daughters, and sitting in the yard with all the chickens and her granddaughter.
Carrie is survived by her daughters, Shelby Sanders and Amber Sutterlin, her husband Steve Sutterlin; along with her only granddaughter Remley Anne.
