Charlene Ballard Obituary

Charlene Ballard of Brighton Colorado, passed away peacefully on August 24, age 66 of liver cancer. It was an extremely quick onset of the cancer and she braved many tests. She never complained but continued to persevere. She was born in Colorado Springs CO. She is survived by her husband Jim Ballard of 45 years years of marriage. Jim and Charlene had 5 children. Sean Ballard, Chris Ballard, Patrick Ballard, Ryan Ballard and Katie (Ballard) Christensen. Charlene and Jim had 7 grandchildren. She also is survived by a sister Kathy Antony of Lakewood Colorado and a brother Steve Huneke of Centerville VA.

She met her husband, Jim Ballard in the U. S. Coast Guard while they were in Coast Guard training school. Charlene loved her family and enjoyed being with them as much as possible. She loved to go bowling and was in leagues for over 15 years. Charlene lived a full and joyful life. She will be loved always and will be very much missed.

Charlene will be buried at Fort Logan National Cemetery
