Charles Lee Munch, age 86, of Brighton, Colorado passed away on March 2, 2026. Charles was born in Denver, Colorado on July 10, 1939, to Jacob and Molly (Bohl) Munch. He had 4 brothers, Larry, Delbert, Richie and Kenny. He spent most of his life in the Commerce City and Brighton area.
He worked as a local truck driver for Adams City Mfg. and then Cemex Rinker before retiring. In his younger years he enjoyed auto racing and took home many trophies. Charles also enjoyed fishing and camping and loved watching golf and John Wayne movies. He was crafty with wood-working and built most of his furniture pieces. He also enjoyed tending to his house plants, especially any variety with flowers.
Charles was predeceased by his son, Charles Leroy Munch and a daughter Regina Munch. He had a “Life Well Lived” and is remembered by his daughters Michele (Mike) Heideman and Carla (Tom) Schilz of Brighton and his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was cremated and his family will be honoring his wishes later this Summer.
