Christi Kathleen (Lynch) Healey

Christi Kathleen (Lynch) Healey was born at Boulder Community Hospital on January 5th, 1962, to Frederick and Elizabeth Lynch. She gained her wings on September 18th, 2024, in Brighton, Colorado.

Christi attended Pleasant View Elementary, Arapahoe and Douglass Elementaries, and graduated from Boulder High School in 1980. The same High School that her parents and Grandparents attended. She competed in 4-H and Little Britches Rodeo growing up and she loved all of God’s creatures. She was a talented sketch artist and loved to spend time drawing pictures of animals and her memories of growing up in Boulder.

Over the past year Christi, Kallie and Eli were blessed to have shared the same home. Christi was able, during this time, to form an indescribable bond with her Grandson, Eli. They spent a great deal of time together and grew very close. What a blessing for the two of them. The day before her passing, she spent the day helping Kallie beautify her yards. Another precious gift.

Christi spent much of her adult life devoted to helping her girls and grandchildren succeed in the show ring. She was able to help her youngest Grandson, Caleb, with his first 4-H project this past summer.

 Christi had an innate talent for raising high quality sheep, and her passion found her ringside watching her family win multiple championships at the local, State and National Level. Cassi and Kallie first and later Caiden, Eli and Caleb all participated in 4-H.

Christi was so immensely proud of the accomplishments that she and her family achieved, attending shows as often as she could. She spent this past summer doing everything she could to support her beloved Granddaughter Caiden finish her junior career in showing livestock.

Christi is survived by her daughters Cassi (Cody) Mitchell of Wiggins CO and Kallie Healey of Brighton CO, and her Grandchildren Caiden Healey Mitchell, Caleb Mitchell, and Eli Blackshere. Her girls and Grandchildren brought her much pride and joy. Christi is also survived by her sister, Tina (Lynch) Johnson of Kersey CO and nephew Cooper Kline, and her lifelong friend Debbi Harding. She is preceded in death by her parents and Grandparents and her infant daughter Tama June Healey.

A graveside service will be held at Mountain View Memorial Park 3016  Kalmia in Boulder October 4th at 11:00, where she will be laid to rest next to her beloved Grandparents Homer and Helen Lynch and her Mother Liz.
