Christian "Melo" Enrique Santamaria Gomez

Christian Enrique Santamaria Gomez was born to Enrique Santamaria Preciado and Maria Cruz Gomez Mejia in Sahuayo, Michoacán, Mexico on November 10th, 1989. Christian was brought to the United States in 1994, where we lived in Compton, California for three years. Christian was the oldest of four. Christian leaves behind 3 siblings: Brayan Santamaria Gomez, Jocelyn Santamaria, and Julio Santamaria Gomez. Christian has eight children: Adrian, Lexiana, Aaliyah, Janaya, Jordan, Carmelo, Cameron, and Autumn. Christian attended Hidden Lake High School. Christian had a big passion for basketball and Pokémon. Christian enjoyed playing basketball with his friends: Erik Markoff, Vincent Markoff, Robert Markoff, Derek Deleon, and Aaron Delgado. Christian’s favorite basketball team was the Denver Nuggets, New York Knicks, and his favorite football team was the Oakland Raiders and the Denver Broncos. Christian had one of the biggest hearts ln the world; he would open his heart to anyone he knew. Christian enjoyed being home with his kids and family. Christian worked in landscaping in Thornton, Colorado, and enjoyed doing what he did. Christian had the energy to lift anyone’s spirits up when people were feeling down. Christian was loved by many people, and Christian made a huge impact on the people he loved most. Christian is missed dearly and loved by everyone he leaves behind. Christian enjoyed having a good time with his friends and family and he also enjoyed hunting and fishing with his coworkers from landscaping. 

Christian will be survived by his brother Julio Santamaria Gomez, Derek DeLeon, Erik Markoff, Vincent Markoff, Robert Markoff, and Lee.
