Christine McCormick was born on June 18, 1949, to Antonie and Franz Polomski in Bebra, Germany. On December 22, 2024, at the age of 75, God called her home to Heaven from her residence in Brighton, Colorado.
Christine spent her early years as an only child in Germany, before meeting the love of her life, Ted. On March 31, 1967, they began their journey together in marriage, setting an extraordinary example for their family of what a loving and successful relationship looks like. Soon after, Christine and Ted moved to the United States with their two daughters, choosing to make Colorado their home. Christine enjoyed a variety of wholesome activities, such as spending time with her family and friends, gardening, and exploring the beautiful outdoors of Colorado. She also had a passion for traveling, visiting different countries, reading, and indulging in a bit of gambling (and bingo was the name of the game). Sweet, funny, caring and feisty are just a few words to describe Christine, but she will be most remembered as the most amazing wife, mother, oma, and friend, anyone could ask for.
Christine is survived by her devoted husband, Ted. Her two daughters, Diana (Nabin) Sharma and Chilla (Roger) Surratt. She also leaves behind four cherished grandchildren; Hailey, Brandon (Vicky), Maya and Amira, as well as numerous other family members and friends who she deeply loved. Christine may be gone physically but her memory and spirit will be with those close to her forever as she left her amazing mark on this world and influenced everyone she came across.
