Colby Strout Obituary

Colby James Strout of Fort Lupton, Colorado passed away suddenly at home due to unknown complications at this time.

Born in coastal Ellsworth, Maine; Colby graduated from Denver South High School, Class of 2022. He was employed by Advanced Auto Parts. He deeply loved his family and friends and was a shining light of positivity and laughter among all who knew him. He enjoyed biking, online video games, paint ball, tattoos, cooking, camping and fishing. Colby had a kind, helpful, and confident demeanor and an unmatched swagger when he entered a room; we are all blessed to have shared his contagious smile and spirited, comedic personality, as Colby was truly the life of the party which was tragically cut short at far too young an age.

He is cherished and survived by his father Joseph E. Strout, his mother Melanie J. Strout, his step-father Michael C. Hawley, his sister Josilyn R. Strout, his brother Lucas A. Fairburn, and best friend Robert Gaudet, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, & friends. He was pre-deceased by his paternal grandfather Walter Strout, and maternal grandparents Barbara and Richard Fairburn, and most recently by his great-grandmother Barbara S. Rossi.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.

Colby’s ashes will be interned to the sea in the Gulf of Maine later this spring. May he rest in peace and endless perfection.
