Obituary
Constancia “Core” Hernandez, 91, of Fort Lupton, Colorado passed away on May 14th, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loved ones.
Constancia was born March 11th, 1932 in Crystal City, Texas to Isidro and Maria Vasquez. She later married her husband Jose O Hernandez and moved to Colorado to continue their family in Fort Lupton. She was a hard worker and raised her children to be the same. She retired from the Turkey Plant in Longmont, Colorado after 20+ years. Outside of spending time with family, she loved music and dancing.
Constancia is survived by her children Jose Luis Hernandez, Maria Luisa (Rodrigo) Chavez, Esmeralda Hernandez, Oscar (Leticia) Hernandez, Elida (Daniel) Becerra, Elizabeth (Raul) Heredia and SanJuana (Louie) Hernandez, 20 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. As well as 6 sisters and 2 brothers.
Constancia was proceeded in death by her husband Jose O Hernandez, her parents Isidro (Maria) Vasquez, her brother Juan Vasquez and her grandson Charlie Garza.
Constancia was loved by many and will be forever missed.
