Dave Suazo Obituary

Dave P. Suazo, 67, of Brighton, passed away May 25, 2015 at University of Colorado Hospital while awaiting his liver transplant. He was born October 17, 1947 in Denver, CO to Benjamin and Mary (Sena) Suazo and attended schools in Brighton. He married Dorothy Hernandez on April 8, 1972 in Brighton.

Dave worked for over 25 years for Bill's Floor Covering here in Brighton and most recently he worked for Central Products, retiring in 2011. He was a native of Brighton and member of St. Augustine Catholic Church.

In his younger years, Dave enjoyed boxing. He was huge Oakland Raider fan and supporter. He was a friend to everyone and an amazing, loving dad and Grandpa who will be greatly missed.

Dave is survived by his wife, Dorothy, of Brighton; children, David Suazo, Bobby Suazo and Angie (Jason) Galicia, all of Brighton; siblings, Edward Sena of Pueblo, Larry (Lori) Ramirez of Lake Havasu, AZ, Rocky Suazo of Brighton, Dennis Suazo of Phoenix, AZ and Jackie Suazo of Denver; six grandchildren, David, Jared, Jeremiah, Julissa, Darrien and Jiana.

A Rosary Service will be held on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at 7:00pm at Tabor-Rice Funeral Home in Brighton. Mass of Christian Burial will follow on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at 11:00am at St. Augustine Catholic Church.
