David Francis Conway

David Francis Conway, age 78, passed away peacefully at his residence in Lochbuie, Colorado on September 1, 2021. He was born on April 8, 1943 to Francis and Mary (Zani) Conway in Brockton, Massachusetts, where he also grew up and ultimately graduated High School from. 

For Work, David once owned his own Electronics Company in Kansas, and was sought as such an accomplished, electronic guru, that his status got him a job with “Controlled Products”, whom he worked for over 18 years. Dave had his own section in their news letter “Dear Dave” which he gave professional technical expertise.  On June 8, 2001, later in life he, married Sherry Varnedoe Conway Denver, Colorado, and the two remained married for the following 20 years. 

For fun and hobbies David loved to take long rides in his car with his loved ones, through the mountains and through various other places his favorite drives would be Rocky Mountain National Park, he love his big band music, YouTube videos (trains, architecture, movie clips) David loved anything that had to do with avionics. He admired jets and airplanes, and just about anything that flew in the air, but most of all David enjoyed being at home with his family. He was a Vietnam Veteran, He was a very hardworking man; some would even deem him as a work-a-holic. Even though he came off as being very precise and direct, he was always a loving, generous, and caring man, whom will be missed by many of those who knew him.

David is survived by his spouse, Sherry Conway of Lochbuie, CO. By his stepdaughter, Janet (Tom) of Hudson, CO. Along by their son, David’s grandson, Stephen (Tasha) of Littleton, CO. Along by their children, Brooke and Brayden. He is also survived by his brother, Robert (Charlotte) Conway of Florida, also by a niece, Mary Beth of Massachusetts. He is preceded in death by, both his mother and father, Francis and Mary (Zani) Conway. Along by his sister, Mary Ellen.
