David A. Lozano (aka Money Maker) age 79, Born December 29, 1941 in Brighton Co, and died peacefully at home in Thornton Co. on August 25th 2021.
Beloved husband to Amy for 59 years. Loving Father of Kathleen, Dave and Daughter-in-law Shellie. He loved and cherished his grand kids; Chris, Jesse, Alyssa, Eugene, David and Laura. His family admired him and looked up to him. He was a family man and liked to get together with his and Amy’s brothers and sisters as often as he could. He had so many longtime friends, often referred to as the “Gang”. He was an avid fisherman that loved to go camping. He also loved his casinos.
David graduated Brighton High School in 1960. In 1965, David started working as a Pressman, then Die Setter for the US Denver Mint (aka Money Maker). He retired from the Mint in 1998 after 33 years. He loved to travel and had played golf in almost every US state. He spent most winters at their Resort “Rancho Casa Blanca” located in Indio, California, where their RV was parked right on the 18th tee box overlooking the green. He loved to entertain and their place was the 19th hole, it was the gathering place.
