Delbert Lynn Schweizer

Delbert Lynn Schweizer, 64, of Lochbuie, passed away November 15, 2015 at his home. He was born May 21, 1951 in La Junta, CO to Charles McCleskey and Lola Majors. He graduated from Brighton High School in 1970 and married Clara Shue on September 12, 1975 in Brighton.

Delbert worked for Merritt Equipment for close to 30 years in their Parts Department. He enjoyed fishing and watching his grandchildren in his free time. His favorite cartoon character was the Tazmanian Devil and he loved Dolly Parton. He was a loving father, grandfather and Uncle who will be greatly missed.

Delbert is survived by his mother, Lola McCleskey of Lafayette; two sons, Michael Schweizer of Firestone and Marc Schweizer of Brighton; two brothers, Ronnie Schwiezer of Texas and Dennis McCleskey of Brighton; one sister, Judy McCleskey of Erie, CO and four grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, November 20, 2015 at 11:00am at Tabor-Rice Funeral Home in Brighton.
