Devon "Kris" Lenzini Obituary

Devon "Kris" Lenzini

Devon “Kris” Lenzini rode into this world on April 1, 1962, in Denver, Colorado, and left it on March 23, 2026, leaving behind a trail of stories, laughter, and lives forever changed by her love.

Born and raised in Colorado, Kris spent most of her life along the Front Range, where the mountains, open skies, and spirit of the West became part of who she was. Later in life, she moved to Kentucky to be closer to her daughter and grandchildren, embracing every opportunity to spend time with the family she loved so fiercely.

Kris is survived by her husband of 25 years, Paul Lenzini; her daughter, Lindsey Bingel (formerly Cobb); her son-in-law, Richard; and her grandchildren, Ryann, Brees, and Riker, who were among the greatest joys of her life.

To know Kris was to know a woman who lived life on her own terms. She was a cowgirl in every sense of the word—not because of what she wore or where she lived, but because of the way she carried herself through the world. She was strong, independent, resilient, and just a little bit wild. She didn't shy away from hard work, tough conversations, or standing up for what she believed was right.

A devoted believer in God, Kris lived by a faith that was reflected not just in what she said, but in how she treated people. She had a generous heart and rarely hesitated to help someone in need. She gave freely of her time, energy, and love, often putting others before herself. She believed in doing the right thing, living with integrity, and showing up when people needed her.

Kris was fierce, rowdy, funny, and loyal. She could make you laugh until your sides hurt and then turn around and fiercely defend the people she loved. She had a sharp wit, a stubborn streak, and a heart that never quit. If you earned her love, you had it for life. She wasn't always easy, but she was always real.

She loved deeply, fought hard, and remained true to herself through every chapter of her life. Her family knew her as a protector, a storyteller, loyal, and a woman whose love could be felt even when words weren't spoken.

The world is a little quieter without her in it, but her spirit lives on in every lesson she taught, every memory she created, and every person fortunate enough to have been loved by her. When her family thinks of her, they won't just remember the hardships she endured or the battles she fought. They'll remember her laughter, her grit, her faith, her loyalty, and the unmistakable cowgirl spirit that carried her through life.

The trail she leaves behind is one of courage, conviction, and love. Though she has ridden on ahead, those who loved her take comfort in knowing that one day they'll see her again beyond the horizon.
