Donna Hughes

Donna Hughes, 91, of Brighton, passed away on November 19, 2022.
 
Donna was born in Clarinda, Iowa on February 15, 1931 to Robert and Gladys Fletcher. She married Don Hughes on June 20, 1947 and was lucky to spend the next 74 years with him. Together they raised three kids. Donna was a homemaker and loved being surrounded by her family and friends. So many were fortunate enough to walk through that kitchen door and be told to pull up a chair at her table. We are blessed to have so many amazing memories that will be cherished.
 
Donna is survived by her daughter Kris (Dave) Ocker, her daughter Jana Kelley, her son Donnie (Cheryl) Hughes, her grandchildren Jeff (Jen) Ocker, Alan (Sara) Ocker, Aryn (Alex) Lallas, Ryan (Stacy) Kelley, Spencer Hughes, her great grandchildren Alyssa (Jeremy) Fisher, Breanna Hitner, Jillian Lallas, Jake Lallas and Cooper Ocker, her great great grandchildren Justin and Jacelynn Fisher.
 
Donna was preceded in death by her husband Don Hughes, her parents Robert and Gladys Fletcher, her brother Richard Fletcher, her sister Doris Diehl and her brother Lowell Fletcher.
 
There will be a celebration of life in memory of Don and Donna on December 2, 2022 at 2:00 at the Ali Event Center located at 100 South 3rd Avenue Brighton, Co 80601.
 
In memory of our mom and grandma please don’t ever hesitate to pull up a chair at the table and spend time with your friends and family.
