Elijio Samuel Johnston
With great sadness, we announce the passing of Elijio Samuel Johnston on January 6, 2025, at the age of 41. Elijio was born on September 15, 1983, in Denver, CO., to Zoila Johnston.
Elijio was a dedicated working man who did everything he could to ensure that his boys had everything they needed and wanted in life. Most recently, he worked at Sphere-Renewables with his brother Jacob. Those who worked with him always said he was the definition of a hard-working man. Nothing was impossible; there was always a way. He had no quit.
Elijio was a man who held immense pride and devotion to his sons and family. He was our beacon of strength, our sanctuary, providing endless amounts of warmth and the backbone of our families. He was always optimistic, prepared, giving, and willing to help with anything, playing a crucial role in keeping everyone united. His advice and words of wisdom will resonate with us forever.
His survivors include his sons Elijio Jr. and Isaac; siblings Jacob, Sabina, and Elizabeth; nephews Daniel, Zekeriah, and Nicholas; and nieces Oralee, Jackelyn, Raynee, and Amilia.
Elijio was preceded in death by his grandma Bernabe, his mom Zoila, and his son Andrew Johnston.
A private funeral service limited to his sons and his siblings will be held on January 16. Afterward, a pending gathering in Elijio's honor will be open to extended family and friends.
