Elizabeth Mary Randall passed away surrounded by her family peacefully on April 22, 2025.
Elizabeth Mary Randall was born in Salina, Kansas, and moved to Topeka, Kansas; Atlanta, Georgia; Birmingham, Alabama; and Denver, Colorado.
Betsy raised her three children independently while attending college full-time. She graduated with a Master's in Accounting and was Hired at Mountain Bell, where she worked her whole career. Through the years, she was promoted numerous times and was the accounting manager for most of her career. Working one job was never enough to keep Betsy busy; she always had to have something else to fill her time. She had multiple rental properties, horses, goats, ducks, chickens, raccoons, cats, dogs, and any other living animal that would let her catch them. She retired and was able to live the life she loved. She purchased her farm and spent her days tending to her horses and the animals she kept.
Betsy's love of animals was shared with her grandchildren. She loved to spend time with them, taking care of her animals. She had many horses, and she would have her grandchildren help her with them. They spent countless hours, days, and years helping her care for her farm. Betsy would have the grandchildren help care for her ducks and chickens and help with the chores associated with the farm.
Betsy is survived by three children: daughters Dolene Samson, her husband Allen Samson, Jerri Long, and her son Michael Drinkwine.
Betsy (Grandma) has five Grandchildren, they were her pride and joy, and she always told anyone who would listen what her grandchildren were doing at the time: Brittney Abernathy, husband Russell, Breanna Beach, husband Drew, Brooke Long, Bethany Long, and Michael Drinkwine.
Betsy was the great-grandmother of four great-grandchildren: Mieke Abaernathy, Noemi Beach, Apollo Beach, and Zakai Beach.
