Emiliano Jose Joaquin “Mio” Chacon passed away on May 8, 2025, in Brighton, Colorado at the age of 21. Born on March 17, 2004, in Thornton, Colorado.
Emiliano’s life was a vibrant presence that touched many hearts and left an enduring impact on those who knew him. From the very beginning, Emiliano brought light and energy into the world. Known affectionately as “MIO,” he carried a spirit that was both joyful and magnetic. His smile and laughter had a way of lighting up any room and bringing smiles to everyone around him.
Emiliano’s greatest pride in life was becoming a parent. The birth of his son, Lorenzo Dominick Chacon, marked a profound chapter in his journey. Being a father meant everything to Emiliano; he poured his heart into parenthood with unwavering love and devotion. He shared his life with Mary Ewing, his girlfriend, whose companionship brought warmth and support through life’s moments both big and small.
Emiliano was deeply connected to his family. He is lovingly remembered by his parents, Roxane and Florencio; girlfriend Mary Ewing; son Lorenzo Dominick Chacon; sisters Destiny (McKinnley), Samantha (Paul) and Asia Vellijos; brothers, Angelo, Alexgandro, Aaron (Tiffany), Noah (Shaleena); and nieces Malysia Vellijos, Nollie Chacon, Brooklynn Chacon, Sophia Chacon; a nephew Jacobi Chacon and preceded in death by his brother Dominick Chacon, Emiliano’s bond with family remained strong throughout his life.
A passionate lover of music, Emiliano found expression and solace in its rhythms and melodies. Whether listening or sharing favorite songs with others, music was a constant companion.
Emiliano’s memory will live on through the love he gave so freely—the laughter he sparked, the joy he spread, and the legacy he leaves behind in his son. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.
