Emily Adeline (Peggy) Maestas
Peggy was born in Denver Colorado on January 23,1950 to Max and Bessie Maestas and was one of seven siblings.
Peggy lived most of her life in Wattenburg with her partner Frankie Hernandez.
She was a partner in the family tax business Maestas Tax Service which was started by her Mother in the early years. She was also employed at Walmart in Brighton. Peggy was also the President of the Brighton Fraternal Order of Eagles for many years she loved her club and would do anything to keep it going she knew it was her father’s favorite place and worked hard to represent it.
Peggy was a avid horseshoe player and loved the game, she was a fierce competitor and didn’t like to lose. She loved camping and vacationing every chance she got and also a die hard Denver Bronco fan she would argue with anyone who said things about her Broncos ,she bartended every Bronco Sunday at her club and was good at it. Peggy was the kind of person who would always give her all in anything she did in life.
She was the Matriarch of her family and always in charge she is deeply loved by her kids,grandkids,greatgrand kids,brother,sisters and the rest of her family. She was the best God Mother you could ever ask for.
Peggy will be dearly missed by everyone that touched her path but will never be forgotten she will be in our hearts forever,until we meet again.
Peggy is survived by her sons Eric Aragon and Chad Aragon and her daughter Erica Dominguez ; along with 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren ; sisters Shirley Flores, Rita Maestas Ungson and Beca Dominguez and brother Ron Maestas.
She is preceded in death by both parents; sister Maxcine Ramirez and brother Anthony Maestas.
