Ernest David Segovia

Ernest was born on February 15, 1971, in Brighton Colorado to Lupe Marie Segovia. He was the youngest of 9 siblings. Ernest lived a life defined by generosity, humor, and dedication to others.

In June of 1993, Ernest married the love of his life, Tina Allen. Together they built a loving family and shared many cherished years. He took great pride in his two daughters, Kayla and Samantha, as well as his three beloved grandchildren.

Ernest pursued a career in nursing and became a Registered Nurse, a profession he was deeply proud of. For 35 years, he dedicated himself to caring for others, touching countless lives through his kindness, skill, and commitment to his patients and colleagues.

Outside of his work, Ernest enjoyed watching television series, movies, and documentaries. He would love it if you would sit with him and watch his latest find. He had a passion for collecting coins and liked going bowling and going to bingo. Known for his quick wit and sense of humor, he always had a joke ready to tell. His generous spirit was evident in the way he freely gave to anyone in need, never hesitating to help others whenever he could.

Ernest passed away unexpectedly after enduring several difficult years. Despite the obstacles he faced, he faced them with determination.

 Ernest is survived by his mother, Lupe Segovia; his beloved wife, Tina Segovia; his daughters, Kayla and Samantha; his three grandchildren Kameron, Addison and Olivia; He was preceded in death by his three brothers Steven, John and Ray; his sister Jessica (Corky).

Though he will be deeply missed, Ernest's memory will forever remain in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made through Tabor Funeral Home in honor of Ernest.
