Eula Frances Reigenborn

Eula Frances “Fran” Reigenborn, 87, of Brighton Colorado, passed away on March 19, 2025.

Fran was born in Alliance, Nebraska to James and Evelyn Hill on February 2, 1938. She was the third of five siblings.

She married Herm on July 8, 1968

She never liked her first name, so she always said, “my friends call me Fran”.

Fran worked as a waitress in her younger years, she also worked at a nursing home in the 1960’s as an aide. She worked at Mountain Bell for many years before retiring and becoming more involved with family and friends. She did sew curtains for all hallmark campers from the early 1980’s until finally hanging up the last curtain in the 2010’s.

Fran enjoyed doing anything with and for her family. Fran had many hobbies starting with ceramics, which she even had a kiln so she could “fire” her creations. In the 1970’s she sewed most of her clothes and clothes for her daughter. Probably her favorite hobby was quilting, friends and family enjoy many of her quilts.

Fran is survived by her daughter Jeanne (Len) Mahan, sons; Rick (Kimberly), Paul, and Bill. Grandchildren; Dennis (Angela) Mahan, Christopher (Sara) Mahan, Tyler, Ryan (Lauren), Brandon, Ken II, and Chad as well as 14 great grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter.

She was preceded in death her husband Herm, by both parents, brother Joe, sons Ken and John (Harley).
