Florentina Velador Quezada

Florentina was born June 20th, 1930 in San Francisco del Oro Chihuahua, Mexico to Ignacio Velador and Refugio Carrillo. She married the love of her life, Francisco Quezada on October 4th 1950. They had 11 children.

Florentina spent the majority of her life in Mexico and relocated to the United States in May, 1988. Florentina loved taking care of her husband, children and anyone who would stop by to visit. She loved to cook and she would make sure you ate before leaving her house. You would make her happy even if you just accepted a cup of coffee.

She loved spending time with her family and making everyone laugh. She was also very positive and would look at the brighter side of things. She would also give the best advice and her words of wisdom would give you peace after talking to her. She liked to play loteria, talk on the phone with her daughters. She loved flowers and listening to music. She always enjoyed making a simple family gathering into a party for everyone to enjoy.

Above all else, Florentina was a woman of faith. She lived with such gratitude, love and devotion that she thanked God for everything she would go through, no matter how big or small, good or bad. Her faith in God remained strong until her last moments on earth, which she spent surrounded by her loving family. Florentina will be greatly missed and remembered lovingly.

Florentina is survived by her children Maria del Cruz, Francisco, Esther, Ramon, Adela, Rogelio, Guillermina, Victor and Martha. 20 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren. Along with 3 daughter in-laws and 4 sons in-law. She is preceded in death by both her parents; husband Francisco, daughter Teresa and son Roman.

Florentina nació el 20 de Junio de 1930 en San Franisco del Oro, Chihuahua, Méxic, hija de Ignacio Veldador y Refugio Carrillo. Se casó con el amor de su vida, Francisco Quezada el 4 de Octubre de 1950. Tuvieron 11 hijo.

Florentina pasó la mayor parte de su vida en México y reubicaron en los Estados Unidos el mayo de 1988. A Florentina le encantaba cuidar a su esposo, y sus hijos, y cualquiera que la visitara. Le encantaba cocinar y aseguraba que comieras antes de salir de su casa. La hacías feliz si solo aceptabas una taza de café.

Le encantaba pasar tiempo con su familia y hacer reír a todos. Era muy positiva y veía el lado mas brillante de las cosas. Daba los mejores consejos y sus dichos te daban paz despues de hablar con ella. Le gustaba jugar a la lotería y hablar por teléfono con sus hijas. Amaba las flores y esuchar música. Siempre disfrutaba convirtiendo una reunión familiar en una fiesta para que todos disfrutaran.  

Mas que nada, Florentina era una mujer de fe. Vivía con tanta gratitude, amor y devoción que agradecía a Dios por todo lo que le tocaba vivir, sin importar lo grande o pequeño, bueno o malo. Su fe firme hasta sus últimos momentos en esta mundo. Que paso rodeada de su amorosa familia. Florentina será profundamente extrañada y recordada con cariño.

A Florentina le sobreviven sus hijos: Maria del Cruz, Francisco, Esther, Ramón, Adela, Rogelio, Guillermina, Víctor y Martha. 20 nietos, 31 bisnietos y 7 tataranietos. Ademas, tienen 3 nueras y 4 yernos. Le precedieron en la muerte sus padres: su esposo Francisco, su hija Teresa y su hijo Román.
