Floyd "Butch" Heneger, (63), of Brighton, CO was born in Denver, CO to Floyd Heneger and Rose Selma Cook. He married Donna Couch on September 23, 1990 in Brighton. "Butch" was a lifetime resident of Brighton.
Butch graduated from Brighton High School and attended Washington State University. He started racing cars at the age of 16 and became a professional race car driver in 1966. He raced both formula and stock cars.
Butch retired from the US Coast Guard in 1960 and transferred to the US Navy and discharged as a fire control tech FT2 in 1966.
Butch is survived by his mother, Rose Heneger of Brighton, CO; his wife, Donna Heneger of Brighton, CO; and 2 stepsons, Victor Aziz of Brighton and March Bright of Federal Heights, CO; and 3 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Floyd and his sister Jo Ritchey.
